An Iconic Drink

A small island in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland, with a local population of just 200 and over 5’000 wild dear, Jura can only be described as blissfully remote. It’s the place where George Orwell finished 1984, but nowadays it’s famous for one very specific distillery – the Jura distillery.  Originally established in 1810, it remains the beating heart of the community, a source of pride and prosperity for the island’s inhabitants.

Jura Whisky wanted to showcase the island’s natural beauty and demonstrate how the location’s unique character helps define the iconic tipple.

A 360º Tour Of A Beautiful Location

REWIND produced a series of 360º videos to transport users to Jura and experience the remote and beautiful location for themselves. Four unique films showcased different aspects of life on the isle, with themes of Arrival, Island, Whisky and Community. A fifth video was also produced, a compilation of key moments from the previous four 360º experiences.

The 360º footage was paired with a strong narration, highlighting just how stunning the Island of Jura is, how the distillery feeds into the local community, and how the island’s unique features gives the whisky such a strong character and defined style.

REWIND worked with This is BD to deliver the project.
