Lexus wanted to solidify its position as an ambitious leader in automotive VR and engage its audience in a new and innovative way for the launch of the Lexus RX.

Groundbreaking Pipeline

A specially designed workflow and bespoke 360° post-production pipeline was created. This groundbreaking pipeline meant that the 360° footage had no stitch line and was of unparalleled resolution. The RX was shot on set in Vilvoorde, Brussels with Red Dragon 6k cameras and specific wide-angle lenses. A Technodolly was used to maintain traditional lighting and composition techniques, ensuring that the Lexus RX looked the best it possibly could.

The result was an Oculus Rift experience and a bespoke Lexus RX App.
